Considering you don't know me and in the space of the last few minutes have managed to presume I'm going to bother Miss Parker, presume that your status as Warden would have any basis to my opinion of you, presume that my intellect is lower than that of an unintelligent donkey's, and presume that I'm easy enough to kill that you can still warn me about it first, I'd say that "presumptive" is a fairly accurate assessment of you.

The point is, knowing that I'm part of Miss Parker's former life and fearing that I'm going to do something that will hurt her are not mutually exclusive. She's said something to you that makes you worried.
